One of a Kind

This original piece is an amazing depiction of a mother and daughter duo shining in their individual "one of a kind" light.

This mom knows the deal. She tells her daughter that there is no one, absolutely no one who is exactly like her, and that she should be proud of that. She lets her know that being one of a kind allows her to determine who she is, what she stands for and what she believes in. 

She lets her daughter know that while she is amazing just as she is, some things will change as she grows older. Her physical appearance may change. Her likes and dislikes may change. What and who she believes in may change. What remains the same is her right to shine in her uniqueness. 

She went on to tell her that she can be as strong, as powerful, as joyful, as elegant, as loving, as fierce, as smart, as peaceful, as inspiring and as beautiful as she chooses to be.

She is one of a kind.
